Accessible lesson plans
These lesson plans provide a simpler and more accessible version of the lesson plans above, and could be used in settings where young people need extra help e.g. special schools.

Hustings guide for schools
A hustings is a meeting where candidates standing to become members of the Senedd (MS) take questions from an audience.
If your school wants to organise a hustings, we’ve made a guide to help you.
Additional Resources
This year in Wales 16 and 17-year-olds will be able to vote for the first time in the real Senedd election, taking place on 6 May. Other organisations have made resources to help these young people to understand their vote. You might find them useful for delivering lessons to your own pupils, or to complement any work you might be doing to help older young people to prepare to vote in real life.
